A proud graduate of Penn Hills High School, Class of 1993, Mrs. Watson returned to her roots to serve the community that shaped her. She began her career in 1998 as a Special Education Inclusion Teacher at Penn Hills Senior High School, demonstrating an early commitment to nurturing students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. In 2005, she joined Linton Middle School as a school counselor, where she became a trusted and caring presence, offering guidance, encouragement, and support to countless students throughout the years.
Colleagues remember Mrs. Watson not only for her professional expertise but also for her warmth, empathy, and dedication. She had an extraordinary ability to connect with students, understand their challenges, and help them navigate difficult situations with confidence and resilience. Her presence in the school community went far beyond her official duties—she was a mentor, advocate, and friend to those who needed her most.
Mrs. Watson leaves behind her loving husband and two children, as well as a community of students, families, and staff who mourn her loss deeply.
